I have to agree with you. Classified Ads are basically online ads which are placed on Classified Resources. It works the same way as you give advertisement in any other media like: Newspapers, Magazines, Radio, and Television etc.

Classified advertising are very useful to promote the website as they get posted immediately and can generate sales queries in a couple of hours. Classified Ads are posted on Resources which already have traffic and have a lot of people refer them for quality products and services.
